Michael Hinson: - The program has had great success in such a short period of time, but are still in our infacny. We were very inconsistent at the Pan American Championships and our goal for the World Championships is to find that consistency that the top teams in the world are able to achieve. We want the world to take notice and help support our program as we develop the great sport of handball in the United States.
 

Chay Lapin is is the goalie for USA Beach Handball. Chay was the starting goalie in the improbably run for Team USA as they won the 2016 Pan American Beach Handball Championships. Chay started playing beach handball less than one year ago, but has an established career in international athletics. Chay represented the USA in the 2012 Summer Olympics as a member of USA Water polo. With USA Water polo, Chay competed in several international competitions including winning the Gold Medal at the Pan American Games. Chay holds the recored for most saves in water polo at UCLA.

Jacobo Garcia joins USA Beach Handball from the sports of volelyball and basketball. Jacobo first started playing the indoor version of team handball in 2014 as a member of the Los Angeles Team Handball Club and later being invited to represent the USA Youth National Team at the Partille Cup in Sweeden. He competed and won the 2015 Southern California Beach Handball Tournament and since has been a leader for USA Beach Handball.
